Lois Hubanks - Area 1Ms. Lois Hubanks grew up in Denver, Colorado. She majored in Physical Education at Greeley College in Colorardo; now know as Northern Colorado University. Mrs. Hubanks was recruited to the beautiful sunny San Joaquin Valley as a Physical Education teacher at Lemoore High School where she taught for 34 years. Throughout her 34 years, she started the Girls Gymnastics program, coached Diving, and was head of her department. She was elected to the Lemoore High School Board in 2002 and inducted into the Lemoore High School Hall of Fame in 2006. She is very active with all activities at Lemoore High School and it is said that she “bleeds purple and gold”. Mrs. Lois Hubanks lives n Lemoore and both of her children graduated from Lemoore High School. In her spare time, she enjoys her two granddaughters and grandson. She enjoys substitute teaching at the primary level and gardening.

Melody Measell - Board President 2024 - Area 2Melody Measell moved to Lemoore in 1995 where she and her husband Mark raised their 2 daughters, both graduates of Lemoore High School. Melody has been a businesswoman in Lemoore for 28 years. She received her Associates of Arts degree at West Hills College Lemoore in 2010 and has been a business owner and is still currently self-employed working part time. She also helps Mark run their trucking company organizing, budgeting, and maintaining daily office duties. Melody has many years of volunteering in her community. She served on the Aqua Jets swim team, four of those as a board member taking on the positions of Treasurer and Vice President. She worked as a counselor at West Hills summer educational 5C camp and has countless hours volunteering all 8 years while her daughters attended Lemoore High. She was active in the FFA boosters’ program, organized fundraisers, sports programs, and chairman for Sober Grad, as well as other activities as needed. She is very thankful for the opportunities both of her daughters had during their time at LHS and looks forward to serving on the LUHSD board. Term November 2026 |

Dr. Guadalupe Solis - Board Clerk - Area 3Dr. Guadalupe Solis has been a long time resident of Lemoore. He has served as an educator for over forty-six years in Kings and Tulare counties. His educational roles have been as an elementary and high school teacher, track and cross country coach, adjunct professor, Lemoore High School Principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent of a school district.
Dr. Solis and his wife raised two children who attended Lemoore Schools. His granchildren currently attend Lemoore Schools. Dr. Solis is committed to the art of teaching and using active pedagogy to grow the minds of all students. "We must challenge our students to dream beyond their potential, work hard and become the next generation of world stewards."

Rodney Evangelho, Jr. - Area 4Rodney was born in Hanford, California and raised in Lemoore, California. He is a 1990 Lemoore High School graduate who is highly involved as a member of the Lemoore Future Farmers of America. He continued his dedication to the Lemoore FFA and Agriculture program for over a decade serving as a Booster member since 2003 and has served as President on three separate occasions. In addition, he has served on the Lemoore High School Ag Advisory Board and the Lemoore High School Site Council Board. In 2021 Rodney was inducted into the Lemoore High School Hall of Fame, receiving the Gary Sedgwick Award. He and his wife Mary Ann alone with their five children, all graduated from Lemoore High School. All five children have gone on to attend college. Rodney looks forward to his grandson becoming the 3rd generation of the family to attend Lemoore Union High School as well in the future. Rodney has been operating his family business, Evangelho Seed & Farm Store in Lemoore since 1991. They were honored as Business of the Year in 2006. He has gained experience in management of the business and employees, along with financial decisions, creating budgets and continues to grow his farm store business. He also enjoys being an active walnut farmer. Term 2028 |

Jason Orton - Area 5Jason Orton grew up on a farm in Stratford, California and is one of five generations of his family to have attended Lemoore High School. He attended Fresno State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Studies from Fresno Pacific University. Jason has completed industry training programs at The Ohio State University’s Agricultural Technical Institute and Texas A & M’s Industrial Development program. He served for seven years in the California Military Department and was a historian, writer, and Editor in Chief of the Camp Roberts Reveille. During his time serving, he was selected for the California National Guard Education Assistance Award Program. He currently is part owner of Orton’s Equipment Company, a farming and commercial property business located in Stratford. Jason and his wife Christa have four children, all of whom have attended Lemoore Union High School District schools. Jason volunteers with SHRM of Tulare and Kings Counties and as a youth leader for the Corcoran Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association and Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
